Musicpreneurship:
Creative Project Development Residency
The Creative Project Development Residency offers an imaginative and entrepreneurial young artist the opportunity to develop an original musical project and explore new ways of creating, presenting and sharing music.

Selected from instrumentalists and singers from around the world, the resident receives individual mentoring at the heart of the Verbier Festival to develop their project, experiment with new ideas and explore how their work can connect with today’s audiences.

the residency

The Creative Project Development Residency is designed as a space for exploration and development rather than a predefined course programme. The resident works with Academy mentors to advance their project through individual sessions, exchanges, and periods of reflection and experimentation.

Their immersion at the heart of the Verbier Festival also allows them to meet artists and professionals, attend rehearsals, masterclasses, and concerts, and confront their ideas with a particularly rich artistic environment. The content of the residency evolves according to the project and the opportunities that arise during the Festival.

Curiosity, openness, and personal initiative are essential: the residency is for an artist ready to experiment, question their ideas, and seize the opportunities that arise from their stay in Verbier.
